The series of Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science symposia, organized on a rotating basis in the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia, has a well-established tradition dating back to 1972. The aim is to encourage high-quality research in all branches of theoretical computer science and bring together specialist who do not usually meet at specialized conferences.
